Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Her father Sergey (d. 2019.) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5th, 1998, from Minsk Belarus. Aryna is the holder of 12 WTA Singles titles. One that was awarded the title 'Grand Slam' in the Australian Open 2023. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player. She has won two Majors to her name in this specialty the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. With her fellow Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019, thus completing an appearance in the Sunshine Double. The women's doubles had only four couples win this title. The singles world ranking climbed again to its highest position on the 20th of January, 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself to the top of the list during February of that same year, following the win in Melbourne making her the second tennis player born in Belarus to be a part of this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, played with her throughout through the season of 2018 until conclusion and this season in 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. She is being trained by her native nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Her idols include Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
