Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her most well-known recordings. Katy Perry's praise for the song Runaway via a blog post added to the musician's appreciation. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering a piano hidden in her attic then becoming enthralled by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to use music for the sake of personal development, and not to earn a living or as a hobby. She began to write writing her own songs. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as her main influences. After her mom said that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to gain fame, and also inspire others to see their significance to the world and appreciate the possibilities for her songs She decided to start playing in front of the public. At age 6 she started playing the piano, and when she was nine began writing her own songs. Family members didn't even be aware of this until she was fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her goal. She claims that she enjoys composing music. According to her, she believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
